Prof. Albert Tiu, head of Piano Studies at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, will conduct masterclasses on 6 and 7 December 2025.

The PTGPFI will select the Philippine Representatives of the Singapore International Young Pianists Competition in 2026. Interested applicants will undergo live screening. For more details such as key dates and mechanics, click HERE.

It’s hard to put into words what Miss B—our dear Tita Maurie—meant to us. She was more than a teacher; she was family. In the quiet strength of her presence, in the sharp wit behind her gentle smile, and in every phrase of music she guided us through, we found both discipline and deep care.

As President of the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines, she led with grace and vision. But to us—her students, colleagues, and friends—she was our compass, our constant encouragement, our reminder to strive not just for technical perfection, but for heart in everything we play and teach.

Miss B nurtured more than musicians—she nurtured people. She listened with patience, taught with conviction, and gave generously of her time, knowledge, and love. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched—every note we play, every lesson we give, carries a piece of her spirit.

We miss you, Tita Maurie. And we carry your music with us, always.
